Joey Rasmussen, founder of Threadcraft Labs
About

Hi, I'm Joey.

I started Threadcraft Labs in Wisconsin to build home technology I'd actually want in my own home. Real walnut, intentionally chosen materials, made to be lived with. Built to last and meant to be repaired. No accounts, no apps, no servers between you and your own data.

Linden is the first product. I designed the case, picked the parts, and write the software. If you have a question, write to me at joey@threadcraftlabs.com. I read every message.

The company

Threadcraft Labs.

Threadcraft Labs is a Wisconsin workshop. Linden is the first product. We're building one good thing at a time, with our names on each one.

What we stand for

Three commitments.

It stays in your home.

Your readings live on the device. No account. No telemetry. No analytics.

Real materials, real repair.

Real walnut, hand-finished by us. A surface that gets warmer with age, not duller. Linden is meant to be a piece of furniture as much as a piece of hardware — and built so that, if something does need attention down the road, it can be opened and cared for instead of thrown away.

Every feature earns its place.

If we can't say why a feature matters in one sentence, we don't ship it.
